I chose this cruise based on price and destination. I am not a big fan of Carnival because the boats are smashed full of people. However, I will say that Carnival keeps people returning based on price and delicious food. That is why I keep coming back to them over and over. It's like an addiction, I guess. The staff on Carnival have always been friendly. This cruise to the Bahamas is really a nice one because you get to go to Half Moon Cay. It is extremely beautiful. The day we were there was absolutely beautiful and warm, perfect really. The water is so clear, it is like looking through glass. My friends and I missed the announcement that Carnival would provide food during our day there. That would have been so nice to know! It is quite a desolate place, which adds immensely to its charm. Go!

Embarkation was smooth and as expected. We took this cruise from Miami. We did not do anything in Miami before or after the cruise other than stay in a hotel the night before.

The Sensation is due for a remodel next year as it is a little tired looking. There were some bad odors on this boat, rotting garbage mostly. The port of Miami stinks badly. We kept smelling sewer-like whiffs in our cabin and on the top deck before leaving Miami. We never smelled this bad odor again until we returned to Miami.. Ugh! Read more
