After fighting the effects of Hurricane Matthew at our home for 2 weeks, this getaway was just what we needed to calm our nerves. We were initially concerned about the crowds and lines on a mega ship of this size vs others we've sailed on, but quickly found there were many ways to enjoy it all in a more relaxed way by advance reservations, early arrivals at events, and just plain being choosy about what we did and did not do. Some events such as Dueling Pianos were always over-attended and we never did see that, but other shows were great and there were plenty of options. Our mini suite was much better than we expected and we would choose again. We even won a few bucks in the casino. The pool are was way too crowded and noisy for our taste, but we were able to find a few quieter spots on the ship for reading and meeting other cruisers. The specialty dining venues were all very good to excellent. Our dining experience in the Manhattan Room was good one night, and not so good another night. We never made it to the other main dining rooms Taste and Savor except during a Back Stage Tour with the ship's staff. So overall, a very good experience for us.
