Hotel Info

We arrived in San Juan 3 days early and stayed at the El Convento in Old San Juan.  We booked it through WhataHotel.com which allowed us to get a great upgrade to a Jr. Suite, free breakfasts, free lunch and spa credits.  Old San Juan was amazing and I was glad we were there when no cruises were in port, as the area becomes overwhelmed with people.  The El Convento was better than anything we expected.  I HIGHLY recommend it.  Rather than taking a regular tour of Old San Juan, we took the Segway tour from the Pier.  Absolutely the best way to see the city!  The segways are easy and fun to ride and well worth the money for the 2 hour tour!

Cabin Review

When I first walked in, I saw only the bed and desk and thought the room was really small.  But on further review, the closet and storage area is HUGE but separated from the rest of the room.  The bathroom seemed the same size as all the other cruises I've been on and I really liked the shelf that ran all the way along the bottom of the vanity. There was more than enough bathroom storage space.
