We chose a Sky Suite on the 12th Deck and were not disappointed with the room or the ship. The artwork around the ship is varied and eye-catching. There is a media for everyone's interest. This is a very stylish ship and how enjoyable (and new to us) to not have to stand in life jackets for the emergency drill.
By choosing a Sky Suite we could use Luminae. Our meals there on the 3rd Deck were consistently very good. The choice was limited (4 choices for each course) compared to the MDR but we never struggled to choose anything. Each meal was 5 courses if you included the amuse-bouche and the pre-dessert. The service was outstanding. The staff quickly learned names and preferences. We never queued whatever time we turned up.
Michael's Club was a useful refuge on sea days but we always found a space anywhere we went in other parts of the ship. The Ocean View Café was very busy at peak times but with a bit of pre-planning it was easy to find a table. The staff were very efficient and the range of food offerings remarkable. Something for every taste.
Perfectly adequate with 8 deep drawers and 2 wardrobes. Loads of coat hangers and more shelves inside one of the wardrobes. The bed was marvellous, one of the comfiest ever.
The bathroom was quite small but included a bath with over bath shower. The mirrors were cabinets and there were plenty of drawers and shelves. Plenty f toiletries and nice soap.
Beautiful weather. Tendered in. Lovely town to walk around or sit on the beach. We had lunch in the old town.
Very interesting. Guide very informative. Some passengers reluctant to get off the coach at one point despite the beautiful weather and scenery.
Took an excursion to Pisa. Enjoyed it very much except for the street hawkers who were quite intrustive.
