After finding a very good deal on one of the discount cruise sites for the Empress OTS we wanted to look into the reviews on cruise critic to get a little more info. We have sailed with Royal Caribbean before on the Independence OTS and had a good to excellent experience so we thought we would give it a chance. We were a little hesitant because the age and size of the ship. We read the reviews and they seemed mostly positive so we booked it and traveled on the 4 night cruise out of Miami to Key West and Nassau on Sept 8, 2016. We went into the vacation with an open mind knowing it was the smallest and oldest ship in the fleet.

We are so happy that we took this cruise!
