We have been on many Thomson's cruises, but this was are first cruise on the Celebration. Lovely to leave your cases in uk and then they turn up outside your cabin.

Yes, the ship is a little dated, but defiantly value for money. The food was brilliant and as we booked early, the AI drinks package was very reasonable priced, around £69 for the two of us...so no complaint there! Everywhere was kept spotless. Staff very friendly. The ports of call were OK, but due to bad fog we were unable to visit Albania, so visited Kotor instead. We were a little disappointed, as we have visited here a few times, along with Koper and feel we have now exhausted these places, but obviously safety is more important! We were a party of 4 and never had any problems getting a lounger or having to wait long for a table for our evening meal. We all enjoyed the captain dinner party and thought it was one of the best ref the captains speech, food and drinks. We did however feel it was a bit of a wait, if you didn't want to meet the captain to have your photo taken. Yes, in my opinion the photos are overpriced. I didn't feel the entertainment was quite as good as on some of the other ships and some of the dancers seemed in competition with each other. The Mr Men weren't really to my taste. I would defiantly go on this ship again and I am a little surprised by some of the negative comments made on here. Please go with an open mind!
