This was our ninth cruise, but this was the first time we have been on a Royal Caribbean cruise and we choose it as we had been told, there is more for the 18-25 year old group. Although aspects of the cruise were excellent, we will go back to P&O and Princess and won't go on another RC cruise. We missed the touches that you get on P&O/Princess cruises eg. waiters serving you drinks in the buffet restaurant and round the pools, proper lobster tails, beef wellington and larger prawns and chocolates on your pillow.

However the crew were the best we have come across. They were polite, attentive and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Also the quality of meat in the restaurant was excellent with steaks that melted in your mouth.

Check in was very efficient, considering how many passengers there were on board. Our stateroom was very spacious, clean and comfortable with a good sized balcony, lounge area and a shower that was more spacious than other cruise ships. Our room attendant was fantastic and made the most amazing towel animals every evening.
