My wife booked this cruise, we are a married couple, myself aged 62 and my spouse aged 56. We flew from Gatwick to Rome Leonardi de Vinci airport, then transferred to Civitavecchia port of embarkcation, a tirering first leg but we were well looked after, tip, make sure you carry with you all cruise documentation and have passports to hand, lost count as to how many times we had to show them.

Our signing in procedure to board the ship was well organised and simple, any questions you have were quickly responded to in well spoken English, language was never a challenge througout as almost all staff seemed to be well versed with multiple well developed language skills.

Finding our cabin was straight forward, one or two wrong turns on the way but with a big ship that is part of the fun and discovering what is around the next corner or on the next level. Plenty of guiding maps well located if you lose your way, which we did many times.
