First time with Azamara, this trip was offered for a long weekend fri-mon from Rome, travelling to St Tropez and Portofino, as it's only 2 hours away from Gatwick we thought why not, something different.

after a early morning flight, we arrived onboard around midday, to be greeted with a cold class of champagne and a very lovely lady was asking us about our flight was we ok etc.we had plenty of time to explore the ship and get our bearings, not hard as its a small ship, we have cruised many times, from large 4000+ down to 1800 passengers, so this was very small for us.

We had a light lunch which was lovely and then laid around the pool, our luggage arrived around 2pm which was great, had a fab first day onboard, plenty of frozen cocktails around the pool and great deep mattresses on the sun beds with lovely plush towels, our evening meal was in prime c and had a great meal with good wine and very good service.
