I have been on over forty (40) cruises on a variety of ships but mostly with Royal Caribbean. The cruise on the Empress of The Seas was by far the worse cruise experience ever. The ship is old, rusty, small with ceiling tiles falling from the ceiling in the Windjammer Restaurant while we were eating dinner. The bathrooms are tiny with the smallest shower I've ever been inside. This ship still have the cling shower curtains.

The food was BAD. Bad taste and terrible preparation. The dining experience was fast..fast..fast. There was no time to talk or to enjoy the meal IF it was good. We never had a decent meal int he main dining room. Chops Grille was fantastic. The food & service was GREAT! I had the best NY Strip steak ever at Chops Grille.

On certain decks there was a terrible odor. The one swimming pool and deck area is SMALL. Have I mentioned that the Empress of The Seas is SMALL & RUSTY?

Cabin Review

Cabin Outside

Very small with the smallest bathroom every with the tiniest shower. Not big enough for two (2) adults.

Port Reviews

Nassau

Nassau Bahamas is always a fun place to visit. We spent the day at the Atlantis and then stopped at Señor Frogs before heading back to the ship. A good day with beautiful weather.

Key West

Key West is always a great port. I wish the ships would stay there longer so we could actually watch the sunset. Plenty of fun things to do in Key West. Great city...tremendous port.
