This was our sixth cruise overall, our first with Celebrity. We cruised previously with Princess, Royal Caribbean, NCL, Carnival, and Holland America. With the exception of NCL, we have never had a bad cruise.
Since we live in South Florida, getting to Miami was no big deal. We arrived at the Port of Miami around 2:00 p.m. and we were on board the Century within 20 minutes
Once on board, we were greeted with a glass of champagne and then went directly to our room. Our room was very clean, and well maintained. Our room was an inside room on the Vista deck, # 9102. While in our room, we met our room steward, Thelma, and her assistant, Marcos. This was my wife's birthday and Thelma overheard us talking about it. We left our room for the muster drill, came back and went up to the pool deck for the sail away party. When we returned to our room this time, Thelma had brought us a bottle of champagne, fruit basket, and made towels to resemble swans kissing and covered them with red rose petals for my wife's birthday. All we could say is wow! This was the most amazing surprise we have experienced on a vacation. Thelma and Marcos continued the amazing service for the duration of the cruise. They definitely provided the best room service we have ever had.
