My first thought now is: I hope there is someone out there who was on this cruise with me who saw what went down during the week. (July 15 - out of Boston - to Bermuda) because I would like to know if anyone else experienced what our group experienced by an unruly group of unsupervised young men (who were intoxicated all week). I was with a group of 36 people - all families (with mixed ages - young and older). We were on the trip to have a good time however, we were harassed pretty much all week by a group of young men (who said that they were 18, but looked more like 16 and who were supposedly with their parents). They called me a "milf and made a comment that they they thought I was 18 and followed me and my daughter around the ship for a period of time". Anyway, one night there was an actual fight....involving these boys, a dad in our group and a young man. The fight happened because again one of these boys made a gesture to a mom.... When security reviewed the "camera tapes" and heard eyewitness accounts (selective hearing I might add), it turned out that the 2 men in our party were told to leave the ship when we arrived in Bermuda. The kids - they stayed. To make this very long story short...I need to now ask....Why were these kids allowed to continue to drink and stay on the ship? We were told by the Ship personnel that their drinking privileges were taken away, but we saw them drinking for the rest of the trip. We were all pretty disgusted by the way the Security (or lack thereof) handled the matter. I tried at one point to give a piece of info to the "Security Guard" who was interviewing witnesses, and he did not even listen or look at me when I spoke. I wish I got his name...he was a heavy set man that is all I know of him. Besides this fiasco the remainder of the cruise was not up to snuff. I did not think the food was that great, the service was lax and the staff rude and distant. With all of this being said, I am not planning on cruising with NCL again. This was my 2nd cruise with them - Oh, and the first one was my honeymoon, and our camera was stolen.... They did nothing about that either. - Not feeling the luv NCL..... not all.
