Just returned from our 3rd cruise with P&O. We did 14 nts on the med calling in 6 ports with 1 overnight stay in Barcelona (8th/22nd July). We had a wonderful enjoyable cruise with no problems at all..There are lots of moaners, as usual, goodness knows what they want or expect. We have done 10 cruises and loved everyone. Before leaving for our cruise I read all the reviews with lots of people complaining of bad service, poor food, dirty areas and rude miserable staff. Well we never found any of these complains to be true. The service we encountered was always spot on. All public areas were kept exceptionally clean, although on deck 7 smoking area, i'm afraid they always seemed to leave it in a mess even though there were bins for them, who do they think is going to clean their dirty mess up, you wouldn't do that at home (or would they). Also some of the complaints were about the type of people P&O were getting on the cruises, yes there were some, but the biggest majority were well mannered lovely people. The staff were always well mannered and helpful.

CABIN; inside deck 12. plenty of wardrobe space etc., Lovely steward Kundan who kept it immaculate. One of the best stewards we have had.

ENTERTAINMENT.We loved the Serous Sounds a Caribbean group who were on the Ventura in Sept, pleased they were still on. They certainly get you dancing. The resident Electrix group ok but the new girl singer no good. Some good comedians on in the bars. The Headliners put on some good shows in the Arena theatre. Our favourite were the Brit Tones a 4 man group they were excellent. The Tropical night on deck15 had a good atmosphere with the Serious Sounds playing. Everyoned dressed in Caribbean shirts etc.,
