Our family of four had the most wonderful week on the Liberty of the Seas! The weather was fantastic and the ship was beautiful. Overall the service was great! Our dining room staff with Elton and Alexy could not have been better. Our 16 year old son has a food allergy to soy and each night the chef prepared a special meal for him so that he was able to enjoy dinner. (Who would have guessed that EVERYTHING on the ship is marinated in soybean oil?) Our cabin was on deck 7 (#7648) right on the port side hump. It was very convenient to everything. We enjoyed the balcony and our cabin attendant (Jose) did a fine job. We didn't get a towel animal every night, but that was okay. We used the fitness center 5 of 7 days and found it adequate for a decent workout.

We did Cozumel on our own. We had been to Grand Cayman several times before, so enjoyed a nice day on the ship on the water slides, Tidal Wave, and Flowrider. In Jamaica, we went on the bobsled / zipline tour and it was great fun. The shows were somewhat disappointing, but not too bad. We live in Houston, so the trip to Galveston is convenient and look forward to another cruise on the Liberty. Embarkation was good as we are Platinum and were able to board via a shorter line. We chose to carry our own bags off upon disembarkation, and that was the best way as we didn't have to wait very long for our bags or in the customs line. It was a smooth process for us. We highly recommend a week on the Liberty!
