This ship has seen better days and needs to be refreshed. The carpet in the ocean view cafe need to be replaced or deep cleaned. They are horribly stained. The food is very average in the oceanview and the MDR. It's like they want to force you to go to a specialty dining place to get a decent meal. The mexican food is awful and all the Indian food tastes the same. The hamburgers are some kind of mystery meat. On a high note the afternoon tea was excellent and the deserts were very good.

The cabin was well kept and our attendants were so good we tipped them extra. The entertainment wasn't bad - Tenors of Rock and a Beatles tribute group were enjoyable.

The excursion to Paris was awful. the museums were closed due to heavy rains that caused them to move art from the basement to the 1st floor. Notre Dame was closed because of an electrical issue. You would think that the customer service desk would know this and inform you prior to your tour --- Nope. They acted like they had no clue when I advised them of this upon our return. Also our tour bus guide had obviously never been to Paris or could not read a map also very poor English. The restroom on our bus was backed up and we had to use the street porta potty. They also said our tour would give us 5 hours of free time in Paris. Somehow it took us longer to get to Paris and they shorted us an hour of free time Worse tour ever.
