This was our 2nd cruise after a Costa cruise 18 months ago, but we preferred this one because the entertainment was more geared up for the British market, even though the costa ship was more modern.

As has been said in other reviews the Majesty is a little dated but is clean and well looked after by its fantastic staff who work extremely hard for their customers. We had a cabin on deck 7 Outside plus with twin beds and there was plenty of room for the two of us. It also had a fold away bunk and might be a bit cramped though with 3 adults. The window looked out onto deck 7 and at first it was a bit off putting seeing people sunbathing outside or walking past. Thankfully the window had 1 way coating that gave us a perfect view out, but no view in. The toilet and WC reminded me a bit of a ferry boat and had signs of wear and tear but was kept clean by our cabin steward. The air conditioning in the cabin worked perfectly.

We ate mostly at breakfast time in the 7 Seas Restarant and used the waiter service. When we had lunch, this was usually from the Chefs corners on deck 10 where jacket potatoes, salad, BBQ etc were on offer. In the evening we used 4 Seasons Restaraunt and the staff were fantastic. The 5 course evening dinner was really enjoyable and well presented every night. Our waiter Dino was a really nice person and very attentive and even sang a couple of Oasis songs at the late night crew show "Majesty has Talent" as further proof of the staffs work rate.
