Me and the wife sailed on the Carnival Fantasy before and enjoyed it so we went back for our honeymoon using a balcony room. It is almost the EXACT same boat as the Fantasy. My biggest complaint is sometimes the staff were a slight bit confused but only due to a language barrier but if you speak very clear and understandable english, you shouldn't have a problem. Walking up in there with slang and such wont get you far. I also see that A LOT of people complained about the food. The food is NOT that bad as people make it out to be. If you are boujy and have to have the finest of foods at all times of the day, then PLEASE dont get on this boat and then complain about it. For the price I paid for the vacation, I cannot complain about the food. 90% of it was very good in my standards. I wouldn't have gained 10 lbs in 4 days if it wasnt! If you are an extremely picky eater, PLEASE DO NOT GET ON THIS BOAT! You will probably be disappointed. There are A LOT of choices but some people are just stupid and have to complain about something.

You also have to remember that there are people on this boat that arent used to cooking American food and probably have to go by a chart or a recipe that Carnival has given them. I dont know but like I said, the good isnt bad like people make it out to be. You also cannot be a difficult traveler like a lot of people are. Some people expect the world to be handed to them and it just wont happen. Carnival has very good customer service and I was never disappointed with it BECAUSE I have common sense and know how thing work. People also complained about smells and cleanliness etc. Do people not realize how many people are put into such a small space? Yes you are going to catch a smell or 2.....its a CRUISE ON A 23 YEAR OLD BOAT!! My room didn't smell which suited me just fine. Its mostly other people is what smells.
