Pre-Cruise Impressions - Booked directly with Celebrity and was lucky enough to experience several price breaks. We started in an inside cabin, moved to CC, got a price drop, then upgraded again when suite prices went down. All in all about 6 calls made to Celebrity, and without fail, they were pleasant, knowledgeable and courteous.

Embarkation Day - In a word, a breeze. Living in South Florida, we normally arrive at the pier kind of late and thus avoid taking a vaca day. We decided to buck the trend this time and took the day off and arrived at noon... It was well worth burning the extra vaca day. We were on board in about 10 minutes with champagne in hand, and the ship was super quiet. We had our pick of lounge chairs by the pool. All of which (on the lower deck) had cushions and covers... Very nice!! We were able to sneak in and drop off our carry-ons right away, and the cabin was officially ready by 1. We headed for lunch and found everything we tried to be yummy, and with no crowds there were no lines... Quite a different vibe from the usual prime-time feeding frenzy we have seen on virtually every other cruise we've ever been on.

Cabin - We were very lucky to upgrade to a guarantee suite for a crazy low price, and got a sky suite on 10. Cabin 1063 could not have been better located... Steps away from the mid-ship elevators and one flight away from the pool. The cabin itself was spacious, dEcor was very lowkey. Bathroom was a nice size with all marble and a whirlpool bath! Water pressure was not great, just OK. Tons of toiletries stocked... Everything from lotion to face spray to foot spray (?!) to lip balm. Towels etc., were nice and fluffy... Not quite as nice as the ones in the suite on NCL Pearl, but def. nicer than what we have had in non-suites. As noted by others, the balcony was HUGE!!! When we arrived we were a little disappointed to just find a table and 2 chairs, but upon request, our butler brought up two chaise loungers. We spent a LOT of time on the balcony, and were very, very lucky to have quiet neighbors. YEA!! Also as others have reported, those afternoon tea time snacks are really dreadful... not even remotely edible. I was hoping for one day of chocolate covered strawberries(had those once on Pearl), but no such luck. Oh well... Not at all a big deal. Our butler was highly visible and very accommodating, although with the exception of one room service breakfast, the request for chairs and a dry cleaning request, we didn't need too much from him. Cabin was always clean, and ice was well stocked. A big plus!

Cabin Review

Cabin SS

Perfect location near the mid-ship elevators. Close to pool. Heard a little noicse from above in the early morning hours, but not too bad. Water pressure not so great. Butler pretty good.
