We picked this cruise to end a recent holiday in the USA. We have done several Carnival cruises before and have enjoyed them. This cruise was so bad it may have put us off using any Carnival company again. Check in was rather chaotic with a large amount of lines here there and everywhere. We had opted for the "faster to the sun" option and this gives you priority checkin, luggage delivery and stateroom access. From what I could see we wasted our money. Spotted huge amounts of guest boarding the ship in large groups where only one person had the pass. If they are not going to police the lines then don't even offer the option as we felt totally ripped off with this.

The Cabin was okay for a 25year old ship but the a/c was rather loud when you turned it up. The service in the dining room for dinner was a joke. It seems to us since they changed the tipping to automatic the level of service has gone through the floor. Not once did we get what we had ordered. Items were missed every eveing to the point that we just gave up. Partners steak was over cooked every night. SIde dishes getting to the table when you had finished your main. And the waiter giving you your selections in the order that was easiest for him not for you.

Cabin was reasonably clean and the cabing steward was okay but the service again was slow.
