We chose this cruise because because it was a shorter cruise that stopped in Cozumel and it was a different ship that we had ever been on so we were excited to explore it. WRONG!!!!!!! One of the things that I noticed right away was that it was a dated and not very clean, 2nd of all it looked as though they were short on staff in every department. We never had the same waiter at dinner, the service in the dinning room was average and the bar staff in the comedy club was not good. The best part of the ship was the pizza bar…which the young man who was always left alone with no help was awesome….he handled it like a champ under the circumstances.

Oh and #3 did I mentioned we NEVER made it to Cozumel??? After a few hours on the ship when we returned back on the ship from the day in Progresso we learned from the captain announcing that we would not be leaving the port due to the weather being too windy to travel to Cozumel, we were told that we would be kept updated but a few hours later the captain announced that because of the weather we would have to cancel our stop and head back to Galveston. It was a little windy that evening but nothing more that it thad been the day before so we were all puzzled at the reason why our trip was being canceled. We were given each $100 credit on our sail & sign account for the inconvenience…which I thought was crappy because the cost for the Cozumel part of the trip cost a whole lot more and due to cancelation we would have to use that money and more to entertain ourselves on the extra day of sailing that was added to the itinerary. Wonder what is really going on because if you read the reviews a week before this sale date…that cruise ship also did not make it in to Cozumel….because of so called mechanical problems….sound a little fishy to me.
