Embarkation: Getting to Park n Go was a challenge as there were eight ships in looking for a total of 54,700 plus passengers. However, once we made it through the traffic, the rest of the embarkation was very well handled. We were in the concierge class as well as Elite due to the fact that we are Diamond on Royal Caribbean, so we had a little bit of an edge. Getting on the ship, you are offered a glass of champagne to welcome you. A very nice gesture. As it was around 1:00, we were able to go to our rooms to drop off our carry ons.
This was my husband’s 80th birthday party and we were joined by two of my sons, their wives and one daughter-in-law’s parents, for a total of 8 in our party. This was also the first Celebrity cruise for all of us. It will not be the last.
Our cabin steward was Rhodelyn and he was excellent. I requested two wine glasses and an ice bucket and these were provided daily. He had our room readied up when we returned from breakfast and also brought some light snacks every day around 4:00.
Cabin and steward Rhodelyn was excellent. Good location on ship and large enough for two old folks. Storage was a little challenging but manageable.
