The Anthem of the Seas had to go trough some storms during the last few month. We were waiting at the hotel lobby for the transfer to the pier and meet some fellow cruisers. Some of them startet complaining even before the cruise had started (bad food, small cabins, unfriendly service and "the worst" flexible dinner times). We asked, have you been before in this ship. Nobody had sailed with the Anthem before; they only had heard from someone who knew from someone.

We loved the Anthem. It´s a great and elegant ship. I loved the coloring; my wife was not so sure about it. She thought it was not right for the Caribbean. We had a cabin on the 11th floor with an extra large balcony. Service was great.

We tried nearly every restaurant. Dining was always good - nothing to complain - and 5 times really excellent. All waiters were friendly. We always got what we ordered and sometimes more. One night I had ordered a dish that I would never eat at home, because I do not like. But I thought give it a try. The waiter saw that I was not happy and asked me if he can bring something else.
