Cabin: The Haven Spa Suite with Balcony

First let me say that I am a long time cruiser, have been on many cruises and many cruise lines. I have stayed in cabins ranging from interior to Owner Suites. I love cruising, and there have only been a few times where I did not enjoy my time on a ship.

I was looking forward to this cruise and was sure it would be amazing since we were staying in the Haven Suites and had the Ultimate Drink Package, The Specialty Dining Package, Shore Excursion Credits, and Free Wi-Fi.

When we arrived at the terminal, we were checked in and escorted immediately to the Haven Lounge. From the time we arrived by taxi, to the time we were on board was less than 30 minutes. That is impressive. Our room was not ready yet, but we were able to sit in the Haven pool area and have drinks and snacks while we waited. I was excited to see the room, but when we were finally able to get in, we were a little disappointed. The bed was king size and could not be separated, but we have been friends for 30 years, so wasn’t that big a deal. The balcony however was super small and since the chairs barely fit, we never sat outside. There was ample closet and drawer space, and the bathroom was a good size for a cruise ship. Overall, it was a good room, but for $6500, I was expecting a little more “wow!”.

Cabin Review

The Haven Spa Suite with Balcony

Cabin H9

Stayed in a Haven Spa Suite. King size bed was comfortable. Bathroom was adequate. They provided Blvgari bath products which was nice. There was a hot tub in the room, next to the bed, which we didn't use. The television did not have regular channels. The internet did not work. The butler was invisible. There was a coffee pot in the room which was great. The balcony was too small to sit on. The AC worked well. The stateroom attendant kept the room clean.
