14 ladies from Simi Valley on this cruise.

My 10th Princess cruise. I was on the Island Princess 2007. Since then they remodeled and added more cabins to the back part of the ship, it's more crowed. Really noticeable on all the sea days. There are 3 shows now. 6:30, 8, 9:30. The Happy Hour was changed from 3:30 to 5:30-6:30. (Buy and drink get one for $1) And our dining was changed to 5:15 from 5:45. We were disappointed in not being able to partake in Happy Hour before dinner. It was explained that this gave the later diners the ability to have something to do and have a snake before dinner. And the early dinner was more popular.

If I wasn't with a large group I would have used the Anytime Dining. But I guess that just saved on a big bar bill? If I had know this in advance I would have booked the same itinerary on the Coral Princess, the Islands twin who hasn't undergone a remodel yet.

A nice basic balcony on the Dolphin Deck.

Port Reviews

Puerto Quetzal (Antigua)

We took the 9 hr excursion across lake Antilles,.

When I go back I'd like to do river cruise to see more wildlife.

Puntarenas (Puerto Caldera)

This was wonderful, next time i'd like to book a tour that includes more wildlilfe.

Wonderful tour to see Costa Rica

Fuerte Amador (Balboa)

We did the walking tour of old and new Panama. Next time I recommend the book tour or the train ride.

Aruba

Beautiful snorkeling on Catamaran.

Cartagena (Colombia)

We did the Hop on Hop off, good basic tour. Crowded city. Lots of shopping here.
