We just got back on Sunday from our FOS Eastern Sailing, I'm still on the post-cruise hang-over, but wanted to share a few thoughts...

1. Port Canaveral - We've been out of Ft Lauderdale 3 times, and Tampa once, this was, by far, the easiest port to get through.

2. The ship was beautiful and in great condition. First time on FOS, we've been on Independence. I didn't care for the artwork, very avant garde, even my husband noticed how weird it was

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin K

Cabin met our basic needs. Good location, clean, foam topper.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Easiest port we've ever sailed out of, would definitely go on a cruise out of the port again.

St. Thomas

We liked St. Thomas. We went to Emerald Beach Club. We liked that it was close and had hotel amenities, including free wifi. The water was nice, small beach, but it was near the airport and there were huge gas tanks in view.

St. Maarten

Our favorite island so far. We spent a great day at Maho Beach watching the planes come in. Taxi was $10pp each way. We rented 2 beach chairs and an umbrella for $20. Waitress from Sunset Bar and Grill took drink orders beach side. We had lunch the the Bar, which was excellent!
