We enjoyed our cruise but unfortunately there was a few problems that we encountered this time that put a bit of a damper on our holiday, we were disappointed as previously we had a lovely cruise on this ship. We noticed immediately a smell of sewage in the hallway and the next day our air conditioning in the cabin ceased to work making the room so stuffy you felt you could not breathe. It was fixed eventually but led to another problem in that the ongoing smell of sewage from the hallway was now coming into our cabin, it was so bad we got headaches and could not stay in the room.

We were told at Reception they were not aware of a problem and no one else had complained! Eventually we were moved but told there would be some noise as the cabin was above the theatre, we did not mind this as we wanted to get away from the sewage smell, but one night the staff put on a show for staff at 1 pm which woke us up as it was very very loud. We complained to Reception who at first denied it and then said they did not know it was going to happen.

We felt the food was poor with small portion sizes, the macaroni cheese was served on a plate on its own in a flat round dish nothing with it and fishcakes with tiny specs of salmon, the vegetables were none existent.
