Pride of America Review

So much fun; NCL should be very proud of this ship.

This was our first Norwegian cruise and we were very impressed. It had been about five years since our last cruise, and this one was the easiest trip we have ever taken. We had an air, land, and sea bundle through NCL that was quite convenient as it included all the transfers, which were handled very efficiently. We were very happy to have been booked on nonstop flights between Chicago and Honolulu.

The package included two nights at the Waikiki Marriott right across the street from the beach (very nice, and we enjoyed the Tiki restaurant next door for dinner), and we packed in the Pearl Harbor tour, the battleship Missouri, and a luau the one full day we were there (I personally would skip the Missouri as we have seen other retired battleships and the tour is nowhere near the level of the Pearl Harbor visit). We were glad to have done the luau independently in Honolulu as we did not repeat the experience with half the ship's passengers in one of the ports (but everyone seemed to like that one a lot).

Check-in to the ship was easy and fast. The crew was amazing and exceptionally helpful. Our inside stateroom was clean, quiet, and seemed to have been recently decorated, and serviced two or three times a day. Plenty of storage space for the two of us.
