My 50th birthday was in September, and for years I have wanted to go to Hawaii. I should also mention that I have been to the other 49 states, so getting to Hawaii was big deal.
After taking a cruise to Alaska 15 years ago, I swore I'd never cruise again. It just wasn't my thing. After doing some research, it really seemed like a cruise was the best way to see Hawaii for the first time. Because this was a freestyle cruise, I thought I'd give it a try.
My boyfriend and I are low-maintenance. We did not go on the cruise to be pampered. We were mostly using the ship as a floating hotel and restaurant.
144 square feet but an efficient use of space. We could see the view over the lifeboat. Technically, the room can sleep 4 if you lower a platform. I kind if can't imagine this, but it was fine for a couple.
The first two nights at sea, there was a creaky sound. The next day, I saw a caulk gun in front of our neighbor's door, and I no longer heard the sound. I'm assuming something was repaired.
