We were really looking forward to taking this cruise but was a little disappointed. We have been on many cruises (50+) and our first cruise (1977) was on NCL and had taken several on this line over the years. We've been to all the ports many times so that was nothing to really excite us. We kind of went on a gambling cruise that was offered through a casino that we frequent. Quite honestly, it seemed a little disorganized and probably because there was a relatively new crew aboard.
Casino was OK, nothing to brag about. The ship was relatively clean and desirable considering it's a little older but well maintained. Cabin steward was very nice and attentive. Seemed like a lot of first time cruisers on the ship. Not that it's a bad thing but they seem to clutter things up because they are unfamiliar with the way things are done.
Not impressed with the dining accommodations and food whatsoever. So unless you plan to do the extra charge dining which is a devastating procedure because everyone on the ship seemed to be doing that, you're stuck in the dining rooms with so so meals and complacent service. We didn't do any shore excursions because we've been to the ports many times. It was more of a relaxing getaway.
Cabin was comfortable and well maintained, cabin steward was very attentive and took care of our needs.
Went off on our own, bought a few items, don't like the port
