The Brilliance of the Seas cruise to the Norwegian fjords and Iceland was far below what we have come to expect and appreciate from RCL.

The ship looks "tired" and well worn, with very dirty areas seen as the glass elevators traveled up...the spaces between elevator and outside wall were, in places, filthy, making one wonder what the level of cleanliness throughout the ship was!

The stop in Alesund was a total waste as there was virtually nothing to do except ride to the top of a mountain, look over, take photos and leave. There were no shops or attractions...very boring. The rest of the Norwegian stops, Iceland and the Faroe Islands were lovely.

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin H

Small as expected, average.

Port Reviews

Alesund

A port with basically one thing to do...go to look-out point on top of a mountain by bus. Town itself has nothing.
