We took our first cruise ever in January 2015. We were on the Brilliance of the Seas and were not really sure what to expect. We travelled in a group of 12 mixed ages and nationalities (Brits and Americans). We arrived at Tampa and was instantly impressed by the size of the ship. We booked our drinks packages in Tampa then boarded the ship. The whole process was quick and painless, and we went straight to our cabin, which was a deluxe balcony cabin. We were all next to each other so this worked really well. We met our room attendant fairly soon asfter we had unpacked and she was amazing for the whole trip.
That evening we went to the Minstrel restaurant, and were blown away by the food and the service. We had Dujon as our waiter and Paul as our drinks waiter. They were both amazing and made our cruise so enjoyable. They were so helpful when it came to choosing our food and drink. they were both really funny and it was great to get to know them. Our group were pretty loud at points and they were always respectful when they were asking us to be a bit quieter!
We mainly had breakfast in the Minstrel as well, the Windjammer was fine, but the Minstrel was fantastic.
Lovely and clean. More than enough room for the 2 of us.
