We have taken many cruises, most on RCL. We were excited to try out the Allure of the Seas. While we were very impressed by the size and quality of the ship itself, we were shockingly disappointed by the terrible attitudes of the staff. While there were some exceptions, the overall attitude of the staff was disappointing, aloof, and even downright rude. This was such a departure from previous experiences on RCL and NCL.

Lines at the Windjammer cafeteria were 20-30 minutes long. On-deck bars closed too early. This ship is so big, it can't dock at more convenient ports, forcing it to dock at farther-out industrial ports where, in some cases, taxis are not allowed to serve them.

We love RCL but, at least on this cruise, we were disappointed by the overall poor service. Otherwise, we had a blast!
