Just returned from our fourth Cruise on the QE and we were not disappointed. It remains our favourite ship. The ship is clean and well maintained and we have always found the service on board to be excellent. Sailing from Southampton to Rome and back including calls at Naples, Monte Carlo and Barcelona + others, we found the itinerary excellent as was the weather.

Our Balcony cabin,4167, was well maintained and our steward (Eric) very helpful. We did have a couple of minor 'toilet' issues but they were soon resolved. Room service was excellent and of course free. Not having a kettle in the room is now not an issue for us - just order a cup of tea etc for 7.15 or whatever, it is usually hot and on time.

Given first sitting in the Britannia restaurant , we changed after a couple of nights to second without any problem as this meant we could incorporate 'Afternoon Tea" !! Our waiter, Rolando, was very attentive and offered a high standard of service. Regarding the menus we felt they were OK, but perhaps not as appealing as previous cruises. Also, as the days got hotter the air conditioning got cooler and we did have to complain on one particular evening as there was a positive cold downdraught.
