We were trying the Magellan to see if we could cope with being on it for the 120 day world cruise.

The inner cabin was roomy and has a larger shower than many other liners. Lots of wardrobe space and safe, even if this was partially broken. Could have done with more coat hangars. Very thin walls!

We ate in the Waldorf restaurant the first night and the service was so slow. This improved as the cruise went on. Tried the Raffles buffet for the evening meal and found this very good the first time. Noise level much quieter and lots of tables. During the day it is hard to find a seat to sit and have your meal so we resorted to going to the Kensington for breakfast, that way getting a table straight away, even if some of the waiters seemed a bit miserable. Food in all places ok, nothing too special though. Didn't like it when the staff in the buffet started clearing away the food ten minutes before the restaurant closed.

Cabin Inner

Lots of room. Didn't realise we could have had double bed until we saw cabin made up again on last day. Would have liked that.
