I paid under £600 for two people for this trip. Where else could a couple spend £100 per night full board, with entertainment and travel to the beautiful ffords? The Magellan is not the Ventura or similar so travellers must moderate their expectations accordingly. Instead think about how little you have paid to be doing something many others would love to be able to do. The dining experiences were excellent with a midnight special in the Raffles bistro where exquisite food sculptures were on display being a highlight. The evening entertainment was on par with other ships I have enjoyed bar Disney who excel in this department. Steve Terry a comic and singer was very entertaining. The inside cabin we had was roomy enough for two although the ac was a little noisy. One area of improvement I have suggested is that there needs to be more activities on sea days. I'd particularly like wine or beer tasting, Q&A with the captain, towel folding classes and more exercise classes.

Overall CMV cruises offer extraordinary value and I do wonder how it is financially viable for them to have such low cost cruises. But long may they continue.

Cabin Review

Cabin Inner double.

Clean, roomy enough for two but the ac was noisy and could keep some awake.
