Viking Cruise Critic Review draft

We booked and paid for the Empire Cruise of 50 days two years before the trip began, and before the keel of the ship was even laid. We were lucky to get on the cruise, we almost waited to long, and Barb, the Viking representative was very helpful. In order to get on the cruise we had to take a little more expensive stateroom than we had planned, but I am glad that we did, and probably will never be able to go back to the standard stateroom again. Viking spoiled us on so many levels.

We had never been on a Viking River Cruise, but have been on a couple other ocean cruises with two different cruise lines, and the Viking experience was by far the very best. Every cruise we take after this will be measured by this cruise. We talked to several people who have been on Viking's River cruises, and they say Viking has them perfected. It would really take something to be better than this cruise we had on the Viking Star.

Cabin Review

Cabin Penthouse Veranda

As stated above, the cabin was roomy, well designed, tasteful decor, plenty of storage, comfortable bed, couch, and chairs. Best cabin I have had on any cruise.
