Radiance of the Seas Review

Very decent cruise; just missing some of the WOW factor.

Sail Date: May 2015
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

We boarded easily in Honolulu without any difficulty even though a trainee checked us in (under close supervision by a manager). Unfortunately, after entering the ship, there was no one accessible to guide us-thank goodness we were familiar with cruising and knew what to do, but it missed the Welcome Aboard factor.

We had a superior balcony and it was just a bit larger than we expected. It was neat, clean, and well prepared. The only downside was that the rail on the balcony was badly chipped and in need of a sanding and additional varnish. All the rooms adjacent to us had rails with similar conditions but the public areas were all well in tact-in fact they were sanding and painting during part of the cruise.

The ship while not the newest was still in good shape and was cleaned very well all the time.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

very typical-just a bit larger because it was superior level balcony. Nice towel folding most nights-loved the rabbit and monkey. No chocolates, though. Great cabin attendant.
