Radiance of the Seas was a wonderful ship and we thoroughly enjoyed our cruise through Alaska! Embarking was long but easy and our bags arrived to our room shortly after we boarded. Not many small children on board which was nice. Food was very good, the Windjammer Cafe (buffet style) was great for breakfast and lunch but definitely get the specialty restaurant package and try those at night especially Chop's Grille. Pool areas were a bit small but it was not an issue as most days were too cold/windy to swim anyway. Spa was very expensive with not many options below $100 minimum. The shows on-board were OK but only one we would recommend were the comedians. We loved the activities offered especially the trivia & puzzle challenges and the game shows & dance parties at night. One of the best parts of the ship were the cruise director's staff- we were very entertained by Amy, Darryl, Martin, and especially Jemma. All of them were fantastic and kept us engaged and having fun on the long days at sea while cruising with no stops. Would definitely recommend a cruse with Royal Caribbean!

Port Reviews

Ketchikan

Small port, mainly all shopping if you do not do an excursion. We disembarked and came back to the ship within 2 hours as we had seen all we could see and are not big shopped.
