Just back from a wonderful two week cruise on Oceana to/from Venice via Corfu, Kotor, Naples, MonteCarlo, Livorno, Genoa, Civitavecchia and of course Venice.

Overall highly impressed with the ship, not too big, very clean, wonderfully friendly and efficient staff and crew. Cabin steward, restaurant and bar staff were all keen to help and provide excellent service with a very warm and ready smile. Plenty of places to sit on deck, easy to order food and drinks from frequently passing staff. The Horizon Grill dinner, at a supplement, was excellent.

Good variety of entertainment, from West End musicals to Queen tribute, ventriloquist, mind reader, cabaret singers, comedians. I really liked the fact they waited outside after a performance to meet and greet the audience and for feedback, a lovely idea. Live music played around the ship in cocktail style, jazz trio, vocalist with backing. Something for everyone. There is a little shop on board for day to day items but it did not provide a huge choice; there is the Regent Street and Bond Street area selling bags, jewellery, perfumes etc too.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom with Shower

Plenty of storage in the cabin and bathroom, both kept very clean and comfy with fresh linen daily. The balcony was such a delight, and don't forget there is an excellent room service menu if you fancy pizza or sandwiches out there!
