Getting on board the Equinox was a breeze. The ship is beautiful and clean. We enjoyed our nightly meals in the main dining room, however the food the first week was superior to the food the second week. Example - don't order the lobster. We had anytime dining, and the waiters we encountered were professional and helpful. Our cabin was a veranda on deck seven - cabin 7257 - it was beautiful and well maintained. The cabin was in a great location, convenient to elevators. The lecturers on this crossing were the best we nave ever had (this was our 3rd transatlantic), however the nightly entertainment in the showroom was pretty poor. To quote another passenger, "we had some doozies.".

We purchased two ship sponsored excursions. One, out of the port of Cadiz, was White Villages and Countryside. It was good, but much more strenuous than the literature stated. Lots of high steps to climb, on steep grades. We had fun, and thought the experience was worth the effort. The other tour was out of the port of Malaga. The tour was to Marbella and Banus. The guide was overwhelmed by the number of people on the tour - celebrity should have sent a staff member to accompany the large group. Too much time was taken up with bathroom breaks - it was awful and we should have asked for a refund.

So, there you have it. A beautiful voyage - the seas were pretty calm, the food was good, and the experience of sailing across the Atlantic in luxury was delightful.
