I have traveled on a few RC cruises. I would say that this cruise left something to be desired. I felt like the common areas on the ship (promenade) etc. were extremely small for the amount of passengers on this ship. Also, the ports were a little lack luster. It was extremely disappointing when we arrived in Bilbao to see that everything was closed. I would assume that RC does their research and would know the culture and customs of each country. Poeple in Spain do not work on a Sunday so it was kind of pointless to even stop here if on a Sunday. There were so many shops we would have liked to spend money in.
Vigo, Spain was a complete waste of time. There was absolutely nothing to see there. In fact, we docked at 9am and were back on the ship by 2pm. This stop should be removed from the Itinerary.
Gijon, Spain was the best of all three stops in Spain. Beautiful lively city, great people!
Very spacious, clean and well appointed. Definitely impressed with room and shower compared to other cruise ships
the port itself was fine. RC staff could be more knowledgeable. I feel the check in process was complete mayhem. We waiting in long ridiculous lines and not many people seemed to know where to go etc.
complete waste of time. I would not go back. In fact, RC needs to remove this from the intinerary completely. It was very disappointing. We saw one church and that was about it.
I think RC needs to stop here, however NOT on a Sunday when everything was closed. It was kind of pointless. We went to one square where there was tappas and drinks etc. but beyond that, there was not much to do b/c it was closed.
