We upgraded shortly before we left to a Penthouse for an extra $600. So worth it. We were part of a precruise at Marriott. We were transported to the ship and taken to a special small room to check in with food and drinks available there. Our consignere , Thomas, took us up to Cagney Steakhouse where only the penthouse and suite people could eat breakfast and lunch daily. It was the highest of quality food and we rarely missed breakfast.

Our suite was huge, full bathroom with a huge tub, dressing area outside of the bathroom, tons and tons of drawers, flat panel tv, huge sitting area, secretary area, double deck area, champagne, water, flowers. Our butler, Chris, brought us appetizers, chocolates and fresh fruit almost daily. He was available to help us book anything we needed.

The tours were great. We did one everyday. The road to Hana should end halfway. It is 50 miles and takes 9 hours. It got to be a really long day and there is nothing to see in hana. Don't miss banana bread at halfway point.
