This was our first time leaving out of Bayonne, NJ. Loved the convenience of it! Not the prettiest place - but we found it very efficient. We arrived at 1:30 PM and there was a long line to drop off your baggage. It only took about 20 minutes of waiting time. Once we dropped off our baggage we drove around the building to the outdoor parking lot. Parked the car and headed back to terminal to stand in a line - go through screening, and then officially check in. We were in our room by 2:15....So, 45 minutes is not bad at all I did not think!

Our room was a standard balcony. Plenty of room for storage (and I have a huge suitcase!)

Food - Windjammer was typical buffet style food. Breakfast had a lot to offer - taste was ok. Dining room. We had 2nd seating (like to take those afternoon naps, so eating late if great!). As previous people stated - RCI is definitely cutting back. And food quality was not as good. I noticed the portions were very small compared to last cruise. And they took off the menu (salad, soup, appetizer) - and put those items under "Starters" - experienced cruisers that we are - we ordered 2 or 3 of those items each night! As far as dinners were concerned - they were good, not great. I will agree that I had fish 3 nights and only 1 night it was GOOD. The mahi mahi was gross -no one at our table ate it (and 4 of us got it). Anyway - we always had something to choose from and if you don't like it- just return it and get something else! Desserts were generally very good. We usually asked for icecream to go with whatever we got, in case it was not too good!
