Just got back from two weeks on the Britannia. Will never go on this ship again. After eagerly looking forward to going I was very disappointed with much of what was offered.

Cabins - much smaller than any other P & O ship I have been on. Glass shower screen which was better than a curtain. Good wardrobe space.

Dining - Dirty tablecloths in the Peninsular Restaurant seemed to be something of a norm. On most occasions in freedom dining, when the maitre - d issued a table ticket we either had to find the table ourself or were given vague pointed directions by the wait staff. On the few occasions we were taken to our table we were not offered the normal courtesy of having assistance with the chair and the napkin opened for us. The dining experience, to me, is one of the things that you make cruising special. I did complain to the restaurant manager and he said it should not happen, but it continued to do so.

Excellent terminal staff make embarkation an enjoyable experience. Lovely, helpful ladies. Well done ! Also very helpful at disembarkation. I had left something on board and one of the staff went back to get it. Thank you!
