Sail Date: Feb 2015
Cabin: Mini-Suite with Balcony

It was our second cruise on the Island Princess.

The entertainment could have been much better, many nights, there was nothing in the theater. A lot of times, the timing was terrible for movies.

Movies and TV programming were old and very limited (nothing new, really)

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

The cabin was, what we expected, no problem.

They had some plumbing problem in the ceiling of the hallway in front of our door.

The change in Shampoo and Conditioner to some combined Liquid in the Bathroom

is a step backward. The stuff does not work well.

Port Reviews

Los Angeles

Used it only as an embarkation Port, not really interested in this City.

We came down Hwy #1 from SF and did a few stops in Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and Hollywood.

Went to Joshua Tree National Park next day.

Cabo San Lucas

Took a glass bottom boat to "el arco"

would be nice to spend some extra time there to explore.

Walked around town and had some refreshments and later a nice lunch in one of the many restaurants at the pier

Puntarenas (Puerto Caldera)

Took a private tour with Odyssey Tours,

enjoyed the tour very much, seen a lot of things and the tour guide was very informative and knew exactly where the animals, birds etc were.

Also, included a nice lunch.
