We have been through the Canal a few years ago. On this trip the menu has a nice change from the sort of ordinary American buffet to a little of the Mexican flavour. The singers and dancers seemed to demonstrate both 'synergy and energy' in their numbers particularly the Bayou performance. The cabin steward took the time to introduce himself and his services at the start of the cruise which I thought was very professional. The ship in general in my humble opinion is better overall then the new larger Royal or Regal ships. Mind you it was also our first disappointing experience at the the Effy jewelry store. We included the incident in the evaluation and the Princess Service centre did call which I did not expect. They do read the reviews. Lastly the hot tubs could be set at least one of the hot tubs to 'hot'. All in all a great experience.
