As a first time cruiser I was a little nervous about cruising but as soon as we boarded the Conquest in Galveston my nervousness turned quickly into excitement! The Carnival Conquest is a beautiful ship! Lots of room to roam and a lot of things to see. And of course there are plenty of activities to suit any age group!

Travel to Galveston was easy because we are only 45 minutes from the port! We parked in Lighthouse parking for $50 for the week! They shuttled us to and from the port and unloaded all our luggage. They were awesome!

Embarkation: Went smoothly! We arrived at the port at 11:45am. Since all documents were in order we were boarding in less than 30 minutes! Tip: Make sure your fun pass is completed before sail date and have documents in hand and Embarkation is a snap!
