We got into Los Angeles a day early and stayed at the Double Tree in San Pedro. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for a one night stay. We ate at the restaurant and everything was very good. They also have a free shuttle to the ship on Saturday that runs every 1/2 hour. It's a 5 minute drive.

We booked the Grand Suite on this trip, so we had priority check-in. It took all of 15 minutes to get onto the ship. Very fast. The suite was ready when we boarded so we headed straight up to get a look at it. It is everything you would hope for and imagine the Grand Suite to be. The balcony takes up 1/2 the width of the ship! We also had a computer with free internet service - which was a definite plus.

We met up with our Roll Call group from CC boards, at the Terrace Bar aft at 2:00. After everyone arrived we took them all down to the suite for the "grand" tour. Lots of fun for everybody to get to see it.
