This is our sixth cruise. Three times on Royal Caribbean, once on Celebrity and this our second trip on Princess. The first Princess was the Crown Princess, last October, to the Caribbean. We weren't particularly pleased with the Crown, but were delighted with the Caribbean. The food was considerably better and the entertainment was far superior to the Crown. Caribbean Princess has our thumbs up.

We were far luckier with the weather than the cruise the week before us and enjoyed warm days and sunshine for each day of the cruise. The staff on the Caribbean were as sunny as the weather. We had such a good time with our waiters, at the second seating, at the Island Dining Room, and Marie and Matis, at the Martini Bar, by Crooners, made the afternoon cocktails great fun. Even with the dozens of people he waited on everyday Matis managed to remember our friends favorite drink and made it extra special for him.

Our room steward, Roger, was unobtrusive and once having introduced himself we hardly knew he was there. Except for the fact that each day the room was cleaned and refreshed twice a day and we didn't have to ask twice for anything.

Cabin Review

Cabin was quiet, even though it was across from staff space. Also felt a good size. Lots of closet space and storage. We were pleased!
