Background: This was my first Princess cruise and I was impressed with the ship, the service, and the food, although not everything was perfect.

Embarkation Embarkation for this New England/Maritime Provinces itinerary was from the Brooklyn Red Hook Terminal and it went fairly smoothly, but took about 40 minutes from arrival curbside to entering the cabin.

Ship The ship itself is beautiful and very well maintained no signs of wear or tear that I noticed. The layout is confusing, however; it is necessary to pass through public rooms or go up or down a deck to get from one end to another. However, somehow the layout avoids an impression of crowding, even on a full ship (except during peak meal times).
